PQI Distinguished Seminar: Kenneth D. Jordan (Pitt)

About: Ken Jordan received his B.A. in Chemistry from Northeastern University and then his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He then was an Instructor and then an Assistant Professor of Engineering and Applied Science at Yale before joining the University of Pittsburgh in 1978. He has received numerous academic honors, and the 2014 Kenneth Jordan Festschrift Issue of the Journal of Physical Chemistry was dedicated to his lifetime achievements. He has held several positions on editorial, advisory, and executive boards, and is currently a Co-Director of the Center for Simulation & Modeling at Pitt.
