Chandralekha Singh, Distinguished Professor of Physics, recently published an article in the journal Nature Physics titled, “Towards meaningful diversity, equity and inclusion in physics learning environments”. The article discusses how physics is a discipline with one of the worst stereotypes about who belongs in it and can excel in it. It also describes what those in the position of power can do to make physics learning environments equitable and inclusive.
