Congratulations to Andy Aukerman for winning the competitive 2018 ThinkSwiss Scholarship! Andy, a rising senior from Wexford, PA (double major--physics and history and philosophy of science), will be in Geneva, Switzerland, this summer, carrying out research with the ATLAS experiment at CERN. His project involves a search for particles called Higgsinos, the theorized super-partners to the Higgs boson. He will also do archival research at the CERN library to investigate the impact that CERN has had on both regional and global politics. Best wishes, Andy!
