Dr. Chandralekha Singh has been named Distinguished Professor beginning November 1. This is a recognition of a career’s worth of achievements, first in condensed matter physics and, since she started at Pitt, in physics education research.

The committee of Distinguished Professors received many statements of support attesting to Chandralekha’s exemplary accomplishments and leadership at the national and international level in her field.
