Undergraduate Research Poster Session
March 30, 2016 - 4:00pm
Undergraduate research is an important (and popular) factor of students’ education within physics. The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh offers a diverse range of research opportunities in theoretical and experimental physics in such fields as biophysics, condensed matter, particle physics, and astrophysics and cosmology. The Physics and Astronomy Undergraduate Poster Session is an annual event highlighting the research of our undergraduate majors. Students create posters as visual representations of their work to further communicate the specific scope of research.
