Since 2022, the Dietrich School and CGS have been recognizing graduating seniors for important achievements within and beyond the classroom in the areas of scholarship, research, service, and leadership. 

Physics and Astronomy graduating senior Santiago Cane was awarded the Dietrich School Dean’s Scholar Award during the Student Awards on March 27, 2025. He was among 26 undergraduate students recognized at the event.

The Dietrich School Dean’s Scholar Awards serve to recognize seniors who exemplify high scholarship, character, and devotion to the ideals of the University of Pittsburgh.
