The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh is pleased to announce up to four summer research positions for female or underrepresented minority undergraduate students majoring in Physics or Astronomy. Applications are encouraged from all students who are members of any groups traditionally underrepresented in science. The stipend is $400 per week, housing will be provided, and the duration of research is generally 8-10 weeks.
Applicants are required to send:
- A cover letter
- An official or unofficial transcript,
- A list of potential research groups with whom the applicant is interested in working, and
- Two letters of recommendations must be sent through an online form.
